“SAHANALA means “Field of the forest” in Malagasy. Created in 2010, SAHANALA is a social enterprise committed to positive impacts in order to contribute to the sustainable development of Madagascar and its communities through the enhancement of their activities and capacity building, while ensuring support for biodiversity conservation activities in the areaswherethesecommunitiesare located. The company aims to bring together within the same platform : producers engaged in organic agriculture, private operators concerned about the environment and fair trade, and organizations convinced by a participatory conservationapproach”.
